English, c. 1720.
The concave crestrail over a solid vasiform splat sided by shaped uprights, the shaped open shepherd's crook arms with downswept supports, above a trapezoidal drop-in seat, raised on front well-shaped cabriole legs ending in pointed feet, the raking back legs chamfered to all four edges.
Excellent antique condition; expected scuffs and nicks; old repair to one arm; expected minor signs of old worming.
