The interior has three compartments with it's two original fitted tin tea canisters.
The caddy has a central panel of burr elm to each side with box wood and ebony inlays around the panels, these are surrounded with cross bandings of mahogany veneer.
The caddy has a moulded edge to the rim of the lid, is raised on four small bracket feet and has it's original brass handle.
The caddy is in very good condition and has had the polish sympathetically restored. (Circa 1750)
