Look at what I found on the Online Galleries website!
The use of burr veneers to the top and drawer fronts is highly desirable attribute and is indicative of quality, the 18th century cabinet maker has obviously made considerable effort to obtain veneers which look so well when laid down on this chest. The piece retains its original handles and escutcheons and has fine colour and patina.
