A charming antique sterling silver caster of plain baluster form with a pull off cover pierced and criss-cross engraved. Good colour. To the front is a hand engraved crest of a fox. Weight 212 grams, 6.8 troy ounces. Height 18 cms. London 1733. Made by Charles Alchorne.
This lovely silver mufiniere is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. The pierced top has no faults. The engraved crest is still crisp. The silver marks are well struck on the base and the top collar is part marked. All in order as you’d expect from a good quality antique piece of silver.

Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
