An early English silver cream jug in the sparrow beak form. Small cream jugs without lids weren’t introduced until the 1720’s and this very charming small size milk jug is a typical example with its lovely plain baluster shape on a spreading foot. Excellent patina. Contains 60 ml. Weight 66 grams, 2.1 troy ounces. Height 7.5 cms. Spread 7.5 cms. Diameter 3.5 cms. London 1743. Maker William Gwillim.
This rare silver jug is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration. The silver marks are clear and easy to read. There are a couple of very minor dinks.

Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
