A handsome antique sterling silver mug of slightly baluster form with a cast scroll handle. Classic plain style. There is a hand engraved monogram to both the front and top of the handle. To the lower handle there are two sets of initials, probably from a marriage. Weight 299 grams, 9.6 troy ounces. Height 12.5 cms. Contains 1 pint. London 1736. Maker probably Thomas Farren.
This useful silver tankard is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration. The silver marks are crisp and easy to read.
