A handsome antique sterling silver mug of baluster form with a simple scroll handle. Excellent plain style. Good gauge silver. Owners initials “S over TS” engraved at the top of the handle. Contains 295 ml, half pint. Weight 240 grams, 7.7 troy ounces. Height 10 cms. London 1745. Maker Thomas Cook and Richard Gurney.
This charming silver mug is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. With a full set of clear English silver hallmarks underneath. Good colour.
