A handsome antique sterling silver waiter of simple form with a shaped shell border and hoof feet. Small size. There is a deeply hand chased centre decoration with flowers, fruit and foliate scrolls and to the centre there is large engraved armorial within a decorative cartouche. Weight 224 grams, 7.2 troy ounces. Diameter 17.2 cms. Height 2.5 cms. London 1758. Maker Ebenezer Coker.
This pretty little salver is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. Stamped with a full set of clear English hallmarks underneath. The chasing is deep and still has good definition. The engraved armorial and cartouche show signs of wear.
