An attractive George II walnut bureau with a shaped and stepped interior, pigeon holes, cupboard and bible ends it also has a leather inset writing surface. The top, drawer fronts, sides and fall are all banded and inlaid with boxwood and ebony stringing. The handles are old replacements and the feet have had some restoration. In very good condition and of good colour and patination. Circa 1740.
