A late 18th to early 19th century Georgian mahogany bureau.
The bureau has four graduated drawers with solid oak drawer linings and brass swan neck shape handles and stands of four shaped bracket feet.
The bureau flap opens and is supported by two pull out rests, the interior has an orange coloured leather and gilt tooled writing surface.
The interior of the bureau also has eleven oak lined mahogany fronted drawers with brass battle-axe handles, four pigeon holes and a storage compartment.
The bureau is in good condition and has had the polish sympathetically restored.
The brass handles are old replacements.
