George III period mahogany stick barometer inscribed Fran Pelegrino, Fecit; the richly-coloured case with a chevron veneered shaft, black-and-white boxwood cable banding, a bold angled pediment with a brass urn finial and a domed cistern-cover inlaid with a bone circlet and a turned patera.

Francis Pelegrino of London is known to have been working from about 1790 - 1820
