The leather top over fiver drawers to both sides with original hand-chased gilt cast bronze handles, supported by tapering legs and term feet. Faux drawer fronts to the ends.
The tapering legs and moulded term feet emulate the purest exaggerated form of solid masonry yet are given mobility by the insertion of hard-wood rollers inside as concealed castors.
The original hand chased handles enhance the overall appearance to the quality of a work of art- a sure indication that this piece came from the hand of a grand and master craftsman.

A superb and highly important library table in the manner of Thomas Chippendale. During the first decade of the reign of George III the newly fashionable taste for classical style artefacts can be best seen in the finest English furniture.
