An elegant pair of antique sterling silver candle holders of dwarf form with square stepped bases. It’s rare to find candlesticks of this date and small size. Classic plain style with unusual beaded vertical trim and beaded borders. Each has a hand engraved crest of a black boy to the base. Original wooden bases. Detachable nozzles. Height 10 cms. These attractive candlesticks are in excellent condition with no damage or restoration. Each piece has good clear and matching silver marks. One nozzle has a small dent and one nozzle does not have a makers mark. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age.
