A good quality antique sterling silver mug of baluster form with acanthus leaf scroll handle. Classic plain style. Uninscribed Contains 450 ml. Weight 339 grams, 10.9 troy ounces. Height 13 cms. Spread 12.5 cms. Diameter 8 cms (top), 8.5 cms (base). London 1774. Maker probably William Turton.
This useful drinking mug is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. Good colour. No erasures. Stamped underneath with a full and clear set of English silver hallmarks. The leopards head has over struck part of the makers mark which appears likely to be “WT”.

Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item.
