An elegant pair of antique sterling silver serving spoons in the Old English style with a feather edge border. Excellent plain style. Made by the highly sought after Georgian lady silversmith Hester Bateman. Hand engraved at the end of each handle with initials in old fashioned script. Weight 123 grams, 3.9 troy ounces. Length 22 cms. London 1773. Maker Hester Bateman.
These pretty silver spoons are in very good condition. Fully marked with clear English silver hallmarks. The bowls are in good condition and are not worn thin, there are a few minute wear dinks.
