An early 19th century George IV mahogany dining table.
The table stands on four turned tapering octagonal legs with gilt brass casters.
The table extends and has one leaf which has brass rotating locking plates to fasten it in place.
The table can sit eight people with the leaf in place and six when closed.
The table is made from good figured mahogany and is in working condition extending and closing as designed. (Circa 1825)
