An early 19th century George IV rosewood two drawer library table.
The table has an oblong top with a bobbin turned moulded edge and two drawers in the frieze with two dummy drawers to the reverse.
The drawers have mahogany linings, a reeded bead to the edge and turned rosewood knob handles.
The table base consists of a pair of standard ends with platforms raised on magnificent carved paw feet. There are scroll supports to the rear of the feet and to each side of the vertical uprights.
The table has a substantial tapering and lappet carved and turned cross rail joining the two ends.
The table is of great quality and in very good original condition.
