Item Description / Dealer Expertise

A fine George III period 8-Day painted dial longcase clock. The characteristic Edinburgh case is of excellent colour, with a swan-necked top and inset boxwood frets. The trunk has quarter columns and crossbanding, with boxwood stringing to the trunk door. The movement runs for 8 Days and sounds the hours on a single bell.
