Additional Information:

Stevenson (1832-93) was the son of Arthur Johnstone Blackwood (who was Gentleman Usher to HM Queen Victoria) and Cecilia Georgiana Byng, daughter of Admiral Hon. George Byng. Stevenson married Harriet Sydney Dobbs, daughter of Conway Richard Dobbs and Charlotte Maria Sinclair, on 16 December 1858 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England. He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.). He held the office of Secretary-General of the Post Office. Lucy was the daughter of Cecilia Byng and her first husband John Wright. Lucy married Captain Hon. Charles Edward Hobart, son of Augustus Edward Hobart-Hampden, 6th Earl of Buckinghamshire. George Richmond was the son of Thomas Richmond. He had 15 children by his wife Julia Tatham. He was in Italy between 1837-39. He painted miniatures, and portraits in oil and watercolour. He painted many of the principal personages of the day.
