Item Description / Dealer Expertise

Bears maker’s name: Cox London and dates from the late 18th or early 19th century.
Pantographs were ingenious devices used by architects and others for copying,
enlarging or reducing plans or images and first invented in the 17th century.
Samuel Pepys ordered one from a Mr. Spong in 1668.
