Look at what I found on the Online Galleries website!
The case is mounted with a brass urn finial, the raised pediment edged with a fretwork brass frieze, all the brass fretting being finely engraved. It has heavy cast carrying handles and stands on fluted ogee brass feet.
The signed silvered 7½-inch dial is well-engraved with Roman numerals within an outside minute track. It has a concave-section cast brass bezel fitted with convex glass.
The two train fusee movement has a recoil anchor escapement, rack striking the hours to a large bell. A strike/silent lever protrudes above the 12 o'clock position on the dial.
The brass plates are dome topped, following the curve of the case. The back plate is engraved, Scott, Watchmaker Edinburgh, To The Prince of Wales. The pendulum has a locking screw on the back plate for transportation.
To be overhauled and guaranteed for 3 years.
