Georgian Mahogany Strongbox by Charles Fourdrinier at the Star No. 20, the corner of Craig’s Court, Charing Cross (London).
The top opens with brass stop hinges to a polished interior and within the
top is a hinged document storage area and the London marker’s label.
The box has a substantial lock and is brass bound around for greater strength and has
inset folding military style brass carrying handles.
Now stands upon a base made with high Georgian style moulded legs.
