A heavy quality antique sterling silver drinking chalice with a cast border decoration to the lower body, the knop and around the foot. Excellent quality and good colour. Original gilt interior. To the front there is a large hand engraved cartouche with a presentation inscription. Weight 229 grams, 7.36 troy ounces. Height 14 cms. Diameter 8 cms. Marked on the body for London 1820. Maker Charles Price.
This lovely silver cup is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. Good weight and colour. The silver marks are rubbed but can be read.
