An eighteenth century silver tea caddy made in London 1776.Oval drum form on a flat base, with vertical sides, and a flat cover.With bands of bright cut engraving around the top and bottom and engraved with a contemporary armorials. The handle is formed as leaves and flowers.Hallmarked underneath, as shown, and on the cover with the maker's mark and the lion passant.87mm high, excluding the handle
