A handsome antique sterling silver samovar with lions mask handles and ivory tap finial. With finely engraved border decoration to both body and lid. The lid has a stag crest to one side and the Scottish family name “Fraser” engraved to the other. Weight 2971 grams, 95.5 troy ounces. Height 47 cms. London 1792. Maker Thomas Graham.
This impressive hot water urn is in very good condition with no damage or restoration. The engraving is sharp. Both lid and base are stamped with clear and matching silver hallmarks. In fully functional order.
