Gilt metal, or possibly gun metal, hunting horn propelling pencil, probably English and made towards the end of the 19th Century. Unmarked.
The pencil is operated by rotating the gilt nozzle while holding the main (black) body. The pencil lead then appears from the mouthpiece of the horn.
