Look at what I found on the Online Galleries website!
The watch is keeping time to around +/- 5 minutes a day
Also if this is your first verge fusee pocket watch, please do ask for advice before buying as these watches are tricky to wind and easy to break
Movement – the gilt full plate verge movement has square baluster pillars and a pierced watch cock and also a silver regulator disc
The movement is signed “Jas Thomas, Chester No 61” The movement is in 90% mint condition – the cock screw has been replaced. Apart from that a super clean example
Inner case – the movement comes in a gilt inner case, which has a hinged bezel and the watch is wound from the back, set from the front and swings out from the front also. The case has its original bow and stem, free from repair or damage. The case has a smooth plain finish with only minor gilt loss and is in 90% mint condition – a good original inner in about as good and original condition as is possible
Outer case – the gilt outer case is covered with horn held in place with pins. The case is decorated on the back with an undepainted horn. The case is in 70% mint condition – a crack on the back, fortunately camouflaged by the dark colouring and patterns on the back and minor damage elsewhere
The watch comes with an attractive watch paper from A Bryars Chester, dated on reverse Nov 1827
Dial – the white enamel dial has mismatched hands and the dial is in 95% mint condition – light marks only
The watch has a domed mineral glass
