Entitled 'Mixing a Recipe for Corns', a humorous caricature illustration within a black and gilt Hogarth frame. Signed G.Ck (G Cruickshank) and published by G Humphrey, 27 St James St, in 1819. George Cruickshank, celebrated draughtsman and etcher of caricatures, produced political and social satires, and ‘developed a power of expression which has left the others completely in the background’.
