Unusual early 20th century Hepplewhite style mahogany Gents and Lady's arm chairs.
The chairs have been made by one of the leading 19th & 20th century Edinburgh cabinet makers John Taylor and Sons, the chairs have labels under the seats.
The chairs have a shaped and pierced back with carved swags, harebells and Prince of Wales feather decoration in the centre.
The chairs have deep front to back stuff over upholstered seats with long serpentine shaped arms and supports.
The front legs are tapering and fluted with a spayed toe and the back legs are square and kick out.
The chairs are upholstered in needlework material, there is a different colour on each chair and both have brass studding surrounding the lower edge.
The chairs are in very good original condition and very comfortable to sit in. (Circa 1910)
