The Tea Caddy is oval in form, with a beaded band at both the base and the rim. The main body also displays an upper and lower band of herring bone engraving, in addition to beautiful floral garlands tied with ribbons. The front is engraved with a vacant oval blue bell drop cartouche. The stepped, hinged, domed cover is also decorated with beading and terminates in an urn finial. This piece is in quite excellent condition and is fully marked on the base and with the maker's mark and sterling mark on the cover.
