The base is circular in form with a raised edge which is unusually decorated with a double beaded band. The central section raises to a tulip shaped socket and the detachable nozzle has a beaded edge. The scroll side handle is also decorated with the beaded band and has a holder for the conical extinguisher. The extinguisher terminates in a beaded bell finial and has an "S" scroll handle. The chamberstick is in excellent condition, is fully marked on the base and with the maker's mark and sterling mark on both the nozzle and extinguisher.
