The Mustard Pot is oval in form with a beaded rim and base. The sides are pierced and engraved with three bands of foliate spears and two unusual bands of flower heads in roundels. The sides are also engraved with floral garlands and beaded bands. It is unusual to find two bands of similar piercing on the sides of this type of Mustard Pot. The cover is engraved with crisp bright cut bands around a central oval. This piece has a scroll handle and pierced fan shaped thumb piece. The Pot is fully marked on the base and with the maker's mark and sterling mark on the cover.

Length, including the handle: 4.1 inches, 10.25cm.
Width: 2.1 inches, 5.25cm
Height: 3 inches, 7.5cm.
