The top with cavetto moulded cornice with a pair of burr veneered doors, opening to reveal a wonderful burr walnut fitted interior with an arrangement of pigeon holes and drawers, to each side a large cast brass carrying handle.
The base section is split into two parts. The bureau with a brass outlined fall opening to reveal a further fitted interior with pigeon holes and drawers, with two short drawers.
The lower half with three long oak lined graduated drawers fitted with brass ring pulls, with a lower cross-grain moulded edge, with a carry handle to either side standing on bun feet. A particularly fine early piece.
