A good Japanese Imari bowl, Meiji Period, c. 1900. The fluted bowl, finely painted in elaborate Imari taste, with a basket of flowers, in a central panel, within a broad border of floral scroll. The exterior of the bowl painted with panels of exotic birds amongst prunus trees, and further panels of flowering plants.
Underglaze blue mark to the base.
Perfect condition. No damage. No restoration.
