As part of our Japanese art collection we are delighted to offer this silk painting depicting a group of monkeys in a huddle, the adults appear to be protecting the infant from the Hornets circling above , the detail of the painting is exquisite with particularly fine hair detailing , the painting is signed and sealed to the lower left hand side by an artist known as Yoshikazu and sits behind a glazed frame of the period , a humerous piece of Meiji period art .
