Japanese Porcelain Dish Of An Extremely Unusual Shape,
19th Century.

The large Japanese porcelain dish is designed with an unusual hexagonal shape with the rim moulded like bamboo with suspended large green and gilt leaves on a faux bois ground. The central white oval is painted with a garden scene and a large bird gilding in to sit on a zig-zag shaped fence.
