A pair of silhouettes of James and Mary Ann Allcard. He is wearing in jacket and stock with his hair worn "a la brutus", profile right. Mary Ann is wearing a dress and "buffon" and an elaborate lace bonnet with frills and lace, profile left.
Finely painted on card and housed in Field's frame with brass mount and acanthus leaf hanger. Each is inscribed to the reverse with what I thin is their "death dates" - Oct. 1827 and Sep 1830.
Their daughter Ellen Allcard is also pictured on this Site, reference number 5625
