Born in Deynze (East Flanders) 1822, died in San Francisco 1881. Portrait, Figure and Interior painter, Firmin studied under van Henri Dillens at the Antwerp Academy. He moved to San Francisco in the 1870’s exhibiting at the Mechanics Institute 1877 – 1881, the SFAA 1878, and the California State Fair in 1879 – 1881.
