The Corniche-style case is gold plated, with glazed sides and back door, the top glazed to view the escapement. The case is signed to the underside and front of the base - it is numbered 41 of a limited edition produced for ANCAHA, the Association Nationale des Collectionneurs et Amateurs d'Horlogerie Ancienne et d'Art. The gilding is in excellent original condition, with only minor discolouration to the top of the handle.
The 8-day movement is gilt brass with 11 jewels, the straight-line lever escapement mounted on a polished gilt one-minute tourbillon carriage, with matte gilt platform and bridge and a monometallic balance, shock absorber, index regulator.
The white enamel dial has Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, Arabic five-minute numerals, alarm setting, date and days of the week dials below, and an aperture for the moon phases with lunar calendar on the edge.
