This piece has a turned gilt brass ball finial leading down to a mahogany & brass-line inlaid dome cover.
The main section has a rounded tapering shape, again of mahogany with brass-line inlay. There is a brass diamond shaped escutcheon & a brass plaque with an engraved armorial of a griffin holding an axe.
There are two brass ring & lion mask handles on the side of the urn.
The piece is supported by a brass-line shaped stem on a square platform base on four brass ball feet.
The interior is stepped to house a cutlery set.
