A beautiful rare example form Liberty & Co's Cymric range. The Celtic enamel design is typical of the work of Archibald Knox. The box is cedar lined and most likely used for cigars.

The item is of an unusually good gauge of silver and in very good condition. The enamel is perfect with no restoration. The box has only minor scratches and dents commensurate with its age.

The marks are clear but slightly rubbed. It is assayed Birmingham, 1904 and carries the L & Co sponsor mark. This large box is also stamped with model number 628 and appears in the Liberty silver sketch book held at Westminster Archives.
Excellent with minor surface scratches and blemishes to the silver commensurate with age. Enamel is perfect.
