This quality large Victorian mahogany antique open library bookcase circa 1880 is in the Sheraton design with a break fronted top above a reeded frieze and beautiful carved floral motifs. Each section has four adjustable shelves and the antique bookcase stands on a moulded breakfront plinth. The antique bookcase has been constructed from the finest quality mahogany and is a rich medium/dark mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
