Excellent harlequin set of 8 fine and rare late 17th Century Oak Highback Dining Chairs of outstanding detail.

Being one bold armchair with pierced cresting rail, central splat and front stretcher, and seven single chairs all with moulded panel backs, well turned uprights and excellent detail to the front rails.

These chairs are in substantially original order with a good rake to the backs, lovely period colour and patina.

The most interesting collection of 17th Century oak chairs we have seen for a long time.
