A fine, sophisticated country long cased clock in a mixture of well figured and well patinated burr and wavy elm. The hood with elaborate double swan neck pediment and classical pillars with brass capitols enclosing a flat silvered dial engraved with the four seasons and displaying date and seconds. The case having long door strung with boxwood, the base with similar stringing over a plinth terminating in splayed feet. England. Finials replaced.
