Look at what I found on the Online Galleries website!
The back has pierced radiating wheel splats with a carved central patera.
The top, side and bottom back rails are all profusely carved with acanthus decoration.
The arms & supports are swept and scroll in shape, again with acanthus carving.
These lead down to a stuffed over seat finished in a mink colour fabric.
The two front legs are square with carved decoration & the back legs are of a plain square swept design.
The legs are held together with an H-stretcher.
This piece has a good colour & the seat has recently been re-upholstered although this could easily be changed if required by the purchaser.
As always with our pieces, this chair is structurally sound & can go straight into a home.
