WESTMINSTER & LONDON BRIDGE

1855-1931 Both signed & inscribed
Watercolour on paper 4 ¾ x 6 ¼ inches
Framed size 8 ¼ x 9 ½ inches
Goff was born in London in 1855; he lived, worked and died there.
He became a painter of highly detailed and atmospheric London topographical views on a small scale using a magnifying glass.
He exhibited his work from 1890 at the Royal Academy and the New Watercolour Society.
Goff also painted views of the Thames and Kent landscapes.
Today his works offer wonderful pictorial views of
how London really looked at the end of the 19th Century.
