London: Burns Oates & Washbourne Ltd. (1932). Original red cloth. Titles in gilt to the spine, and blind stamped to the front cover. Signed by the author to the front end paper. Black and white frontis of the Jesuit’s first mission to India. Further black and white illustrations throughout. This is published by a Catholic publisher and has an Imprimatur from the Vicar General, so obviously met with the approval of the Church.
The boards are clean and tidy with just a little marking to them. There is a touch of fading to the spine only. Slight marking to the front board. No other illustrations than the author’s. Internally, the book is clean and tidy throughout, with just a touch of darkening to the pages.
