An Edwardian Mahogany mantel clock. The ridged break-arch case has quarter side columns with Corinthian capitals and is inlaid with boxwood and ebony chequered stringing. The two piece gilt dial has a bevel edge glass and a central visible escapement that rocks with the swing of the pendulum. The 8 day movement strikes the hours and halves on a gong and was made by by Ansonia Clock Company, New York. USA.
The case retains its opriginal finish. The movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months
