A mahogany cased aneroid barograph made by Short and Mason dating to c.1925. The five glass sides are glazed within a mahogany frame and on a shaped base. The interior also incorporates an weather forecast interpretation chart, copy written for 1924 and is with its original ink bottle and dropper. The eight day mechanical clock movement has a cylinder platform escapement, the top plate engraved Pat. 3715.02, a patent that was granted in 1902 (to Short and Mason for a raised clock mechanism and glued on charts).
In good original condition and working order fully serviced and guaranteed for 12 months, complete with a Years supply of spare charts.
