A mahogany wall clock from a government office. The round clock has a mahogany case, with a cast brass bezel and a white dial with Roman numerals and a George VI crest. It has an 8 day chain driven fusee movement, with stop-work to prevent over-winding, and is stamped by the manufacturer F.W. Elliott 18390 and is dated 1941. The inside inspection door has an affixed label stating that the clock was in Devonshire House, and was in the Statute Law Committee Room 626 .
The case has been re-polished and wax finished, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months.
